I'm pretty sure the boats that head out there take about 4 hours.


Big and slow. That makes for a seriously long day in the heat. And one of the things that caught me by surprise is that going out on the water changes nothing. I remember heading offshore in VB in the summer and it was like someone turned on the AC with water temps in the 70's out there. Then you hit the heat wall on the way back about 3 miles from shore. It's hot everywhere here, and it can take its toll.
